Loved this place!!! Our two kids (ages 4 and 7) didn't want to come home! Main feature of the campground is a good-sized waterpark area for kids (and adults, too!) as well as a separate swimming pool. The kids liked the hayride and the arts/crafts session (small charge for materials) on Sunday afternoon. The owners and staff were very nice, friendly people. Park is kept very clean. We will definitely go again!! Must check out the virtual tour on their webpage!

We've just returned from a week's vacation at Branson having stayed at Musicland Kampground. The campground is built into a steep hillside. Heavily wooded sites are toward the top of the hill near office; there are sites with fewer trees at the bottom of the hill if you have a large rig with slide-outs that require more room. The helicopter business has closed across the street and the site is for sale. We liked the central location of Musicland as it is only a block from the strip, directly behind the Titanic. The campground itself is quiet and filled with a variety of birds and squirrels that we enjoyed watching each morning and evening. There was very little traffic in the campground as there is a security gate that only campers have keycards to access. Nice sized in-ground pool for the kids to enjoy. We will stay here again!

Beware!! I live in the area. This campground should actually be listed as a mobile home park. Is inhabitated by full-timers living in RVs. "10" ratings must surely have been posted by management of the park. A safer bet if you're traveling through the area is the campground in Waxahachie.

We spent Fathers' Day weekend at Whispering Pines. Great facility, clean, updated, roomy sites, woodsy, etc. Only problem we had was music/dance event held in the pavilion on Saturday night. Very loud and lasted until after midnight. If you're not into the "party scene" I'd suggest calling ahead when you reserve a site to inquire about whether music/dance is scheduled for the pavilion on the weekend you plan to stay.
